A bit about us..

Rhythm and Groove Entertainment or (RAGE) has been a fixture on the dance music scene in Australia for almost 5 years now. With the head office based in Sydney, RAGE has developed a key position in the dance music industry both locally and abroad. With the opening of its exclusive affiliate agency in Hong Kong, MATRIX MEDIA AGENCY (MMA), RAGE is set to accomplish an agency and touring network spanning Australasia, Oceania, South East Asia and Japan.

In Australia RAGE has developed and introduced to the public upcoming local and international Dj acts. It has always been one of the goals of the company to promote new talent. Rage is also at the forefront of exporting local Australian Djs into Asia and beyond. There has been a number of Djs who have already traveled into Asia under the wing of RAGE. With the formation of MATRIX MEDIA in Hong Kong this export project will now move up to the next stage.

RAGE & MMA have teamed up alongside the premier DJ/Live artist agencies in Europe, United States, and Japan. These exclusive alliances were carfully nurtured and have grown stronger over the years through successful DJ and Live PA tours. Our alliances also include major event organisers as far away as Japan, France and Italy.

The Team

RAGE was originally conceived by Anthony Pidcock, (DJ Antman) -"..it was the evolution of Rhythm and Groove Sound Productions".
Rhythm and Groove Sound Productions was on the Sydney dance music scene for over 10 years and produced many local parties one of which was the legendary Hubba Bubba party @ the CBD Hotel, Sydney. Antman has been resident DJ at many venues across Sydney including the original Metropolis Club, Neo Pharaoh, Bar Cleveland, Moreton's and Sky Garden. Antman had the opportunity to work along the likes of Paul Oakenfold, and others. Working for Tetsuyo Komuro's Rojam Entertainment based in Tokyo, Antman was involved in the conception & creation of the famous Rojam nightclub in Shanghai. Some of Antman's work has included Playstations - MUSIC and MUSIC 2000 programs. Antman now heads the office in Hong Kong for Matrix Media Agency.

The other half of RAGE is Tor Christensen who has in the past been a driving force and financial mogul for various parties and events in some of Sydney's premier venues including the now famous Metro in 1994. Tor is the creative and organisational backbone for RAGE in Australia. With a background in international trade and finance, Tor has played an instrumental role in establishing the import and export of our DJ talent. Tor is also a keen talent scout for the group and frequently travels to visit events and conferences relating to all facets of the dance music industry.
