Music has always been a passion for Sling K. Moving to Sydney end of 2005, she took up a DJ course to pursue her music career. After just merely 3 months when she was introduced to the art of beat mixing, she wasted no time and started to spread her love for music. Having little experience and no exposure, she manage to find a few guest DJ spots in some well known bars and lounges in Sydney. ‘To me, knowing the technical part of mixing is an important starting point, but having a passion for the music you play is far more important. The energy and enthusiasm I have when I play my sets gets such a positive response from the people and they just can’t help but shake along. I believed that positive energy attracts positive response.’

After finishing a short Dj course in 2005 in Sydney, she entered a DJ competition at the Crows Nest Hotel. Although she only managed to go through the semi-finals, she was asked to come back and play as a guest DJ spot once a month. Due to popular demand from the crowd, she's been the resident there ever since. It was not long when she was spotted by a Dj agent and she was asked to be part of an all female Dj group 'Audio Angels'. Though the group only played together for a year,Sling K has played in various well known bars/lounges such as Peppermint Lounge, Blue Horizon(Shangri-La Hotel), Social Sundays @ The Roxy, Cruise Bar, VBar, Golden Palace Hotel(Cogee Beach) and more. After playing for a few months, Sling K was given a spot to play at one of the most anticipated rave parties in Sydney, Transmission. Her personality and strong presence during her set has gained her a comeback and she's been for the Transmission events ever since. She also made appearances at Gas Nightclub, Lost at Space Club, AKA Night Club, Candy Shop in Cabramatta, Candy's Apartment, Soho Bar, Verandah Bar, Watershed, Cohi Bar, Kobe Jones.

Recently returned from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia playing in some of the local’s well known club, Maison Club and The Loft KL. At 2009, currently residing in Perth, Australia, you can catch her rocking the dance floor at Geisha Club, one of Perth’s favorite and respectable venue.

She completed an Electronic Music Production course at SAE, producing will definitely be another priority for her. ‘I used to play the piano and it definitely contributed to the way I feel about music.’ To me it’s a wonderful knowledge to be able express yourself musically. Her flexibility and electric persona from heart thumping dirty electro/tech house to the sophisticated, sexy funky vocal house tunes will definitely keep you asking for more.
